Things to do

Pueblo City Park: With picnic tables and roads for walking and biking, a swimming pool open for the summer, fishing ponds, a skate park, frisbee golf course and  more!

Chile Farms & Chile Pickin’: Experience the world-famous Pueblo chile!  Visit local chile farms to meet the farmers who grow it, pick your own then have it roasted fresh right before your eyes! 
 

Walking Stick Golf Course

Rated 4-stars by Golf Digest Magazine, as well as “Colorado’s best golf value” as a full service course, which features both a restaurant and a pro shop. The 18-hole course is a par-72 that plays between 5,181 and 7,147 yards.

Elmwood Golf Course

Rated one of the best conditioned city owned golf courses in the state, with a driving range, two putting greens, a chipping green, a par-70 18-hole course (5,343 – 6,624 yards), and a 9-hole par-30 (2,119 yards).

Shopping

Historic Downtown Pueblo

Soak up Pueblo history and culture while shopping the downtown district. Thriving as an entertainment district, downtown Pueblo boasts dozens of locally owned businesses, major retailers and boutiques.  Be sure to wander along Union Avenue for landscaped streets lined with shops, ethnic and American cafes and the Riverwalk 

Pueblo Mall 

Opening in 1976 and consistently renovated, Pueblo’s only indoor shopping venue houses more than 50 stores and restaurants, including Bath & Body Works, Lady Foot Locker, RadioShack and Victoria’s Secret to name a few.

 

Groceries

Our closest grocery store is Save A Lot, at 1100 Bonforte Blvd .

Further afield, you will find a Walmart Supercenter, just off I-25 N on Dillon Drive.

Then there’s King Soopers, Albertsons, Natural Grocers, Save A Lot, and more dotted throughout the city.

The Pueblo Riverwalk

Enjoy a Boat Ride

Take a 30 minute cruise through the Riverwalk channel to learn about the history of the Historic Arkansas walk.

Cross Veteran’s Bridge

Forever honoring the sacrifice of the men and women who served our nation, this bridge prominently displays almost 7,000 names, along with Pueblo’s four Medal of Honor recipients, the 5 military branch seals and the flags of both Colorado and the United States.

Dine, Drink and Shop

Relax over a meal, people watch over a coffee or cocktail and indulge in some retail therapy surrounded by beautiful scenery.

The Riverwalk showcases 54 pieces of recognized art along its banks, with more always being added.  How many pieces can you spot?
